World War Z is an apocalyptic horror cum thriller film directed by Marc Forster. The story revolves around Gerry (Brad Pitt), a former United Nations employee who unexpectedly finds himself in a race against time to stop spread of a virus that turns humans into zombies. This movie based on a novel by Mel Brooks is a fast paced thriller which gets your adrenelaine pumping as if you are a sports car running on Nitro.
The movie is like a blood feast, with gruesome action and the CGI is exquisite which makes the Zombies seem realistic which is hardly the case in other movies of the same genre. The movie comes with some obvious plot holes, but oh! this flesh tearing thriller makes up for it. World War Z is a non stop action flik which keeps you glued to your screen, its bone-chilling escape sequences nearly have you jumping out of your seat. The world class cinematography linked with the perfect soundtrack makes this movie an absolute cinematic delight. This movie is probably one of the best and one of the most successful movies of its genre and a thus a must watch.
