Triple Frontier is a Netflix exclusive action-adventure cum crime-thriller film directed by J.C Chandor. In this movie former Special Forces officers reunite to pull off a one of its kind heist in a multi-border zone of South America. For the first time in their prestigious careers, these unsung heroes undertake a near suicide mission for themselves instead of their country. Their fool proof plan takes a hit right in the start and their heist turns into a mission to save their lives. While movies of the same genre have one to many times used these type of situations or have had a similar starting plot, refreshingly Triple Frontier turns out to be much different. This action packed movie with elaborate battle sequences takes you by surprise. Even though its surely not the best film of its genre, it is still an enjoyable film with a cast full of handsome hunks that could give ladies a boner ;)
Ben Affleck, Charlie Hunnam, Oscar Issac, Pedro Pascal and Garret Hedlund star in this action packed thriller. The movie has been shot in picturesque locations with well-staged action scenes that exude tension. The movie makes a point to be different than most action movies and talks about the puzzling motivations of characters and what's led them to this somewhat suicidal mission. The movie comes with lots of plot twists and its ending is quite unexpected which in turn points towards a sequel. The movie might not be the best of action thrillers but still turns out to be above average in all aspects.
