The Matrix is a classic. It is a Science Fiction/Action film directed by the Wachowskis brothers. It is a psycological thriller which is basically based on Artificial Intelligence taking over the world. The plot builds with the movie and keeps getting better and better. The movie is visually speaking and the dialogue delivery is out of this world. It is a sheer delight to watch and is filled with action sequences which gives you a tinge of FPS games.
The matrix makes the viewers think and question their life, it is so well delivered that even after the movie ends its aura keeps you captivated. The movie is a masterpiece and as Jteam likes to call it ; an absolute Cinematic Delight. The movie is so appealing and the cast just leaves you flabbergasted. Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss and Hugo Weaving do full justice to their roles. At first the movie might seem far from reality but as it builds it starts feeling more relateable and even more true in today`s time.
The movie has had two more sequels; Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions but both even though equally amazing, do not live upto the standard of the first one. The next sequel will release in 2021, so its just the right time to watch The Matrix if you still haven`t watched it. But keep in mind the movie was made in 1999, so the CGI would not be so impressive in today`s time.
