Mirage is thriller cum drama Spanish film directed by Oriol Paulo. Originally known as 'Durante la tormenta', the movie was released in 2018 and then it came up as a Netflix Original in 2019 under the name 'Mirage'. The movie is about a space-time continuum glitch allows Vera (Adriana Ugarte) to save a boy's life 25 years in the past, but somehow results in the loss of her daughter. Now Vera must fight to get her back.

Mirage is quite an exceptional film. Its storyline is strong, its visual effects are breathtaking and the twists and turns just keep on coming! It has a pleasing complexity, that keeps you hooked to the screen! At first the movie might seem like a horror film, but then as it goes forward piece by piece the movie starts to make sense. Every intricate detail is important to the movie, there are no such scenes which are unrelated to what`s going to happen next. Each and every minute of the movie is not worth missing! All along the movie you keep brainstorming so that you have all the facts aligned, the mysterious and suspensful settings keep you on the edge of your seat and this captivating thriller won`t let you rest until the movie ends! With such clever direction, exceptional cinematography and stunning visual effects, this movie leaves you in awe. The meticulous plot building, the astonishing amount of attention to detail and background music that provides just the right effects, this movie turns out to be an absolute cinematic delight.

Most critics did commend its attention to detail but find it a mix-up of genre`s and overall too long a film. But the JTeam disagrees, even though not as astounding as Christopher Nolan`s Inception or Interstellar, it is still shocking and surprising in its own way. The fact that its even compareable to Inception or Interstellar is enough said! All in all its a movie that you must not miss!

JRating: 9/10
