365 Days/ 365 DNI is a Polish erotic cum romantic drama which has become Netflix`s worst reviewed - biggest hit. It has become one of the biggest movie to hit the streaming service in 2020 and has already managed to break most records. It is based on the first novel of a trilogy written by Blanka Lipińska. The movie revolves around Massimo who is a member of the Sicilian Mafia family and is obsessed with Laura, Massimo imprisons her and gives her one year to fall in love with him.
365 Days is basically is basically an erotic - romance drama where the romance is missing. Its a movie glorifying physical bondage and abduction. The whole concept of the film is outrageous and well there`s pretty much no storyline. Sequences are present in the film which make no sense whatsoever and new characters are introduced which have no effect on the storyline. More focus has been put on the beauty of the scenes rather than their meaning or significance The script is outrageous and some of the dialogues make your the cringe level go through the roof!
One might think, if its so bad then why are people still watching it? Well in its own sleazy and taunting way it does keep your attention. The fashion quotient, the background music and Michele Morrone with his greek god figure raunch up the flavour of this erotic drama and are one of the biggest reason why people are going gaga over this film. Its is a movie which seems to be based on a teenager`s dream about what women want and goes way higher than even soft porn. The film all in all ends up romanticising forced sex and confuses love for manipulation. Its not worth watching.
